GET INVOLVED AS AN INDIVIDUAL
In 2007 millions of people have walked, run, performed, given time,
given money, worn denim, worn pink, worn themselves out in an effort to
make us all more aware, informed and proactive with regard to breast
cancer.
NOW YOU MUST DO THE SAME FOR MEN AND PROSTATE CANCER!
ACTION IS KEY! COMMITMENT IS CRITICAL!
SNEAKERS@WORK DAY can only succeed with your help and involvement.
- Convince your company to allow you and your colleagues to wear
SNEAKERS to work on SNEAKERS@WORK DAY to support men and to raise
prostate cancer awareness
- Enroll your relatives’ companies in the DAY
- Enlist local service clubs—the Elks, Kiwanis, Lions, Rotary and
Chambers of Commerce in your communities to help spread the word to
their members
Without companies making an active commitment to participate, awareness
cannot grow, and we cannot accomplish for men and prostate cancer what
has been accomplished for women with breast cancer.
